August 2026, we’re heading to Grand Teton National Park for a multi-night, all-inclusive astrophotography workshop perfectly timed for the Perseid meteor shower. Why Grand Teton in August?
Perseid Meteor Shower: One of the year’s most reliable and photogenic meteor events will peak on the new moon during the workshop.
Crystal Nights, Comfortable Days: Warm daytime temps for scouting; cool, stable nights for tack-sharp stars in the first county to be certified as a International Darks Sky Community, Teton County, which include the park and surrounding areas. ,
World-Class Foregrounds: The Cathedral Group peaks; alpine lakes, historic barns, sage flats, and winding rivers provide endless compositions.
New moon and international Dark Sky Community: The locations we will be shooting are all in a certified dark sky community minimizing the light pollution and the the workshop with saddle the new moon allow for naturally dark nights. This allows for prime star gazing and photography.
